For over three decades, our practices have been dedicated to serving families in Hampshire. Situated in small towns and villages, our practices are committed to the local community, often seeing multiple generations of patients.
Specialised Care Across the Age Spectrum
Andrew Matheson has a special interest in paediatric optometry, seeing patients as young as six months old, especially those with a family history of eye problems. Our optometrists are also experts in managing age-related eye conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and dry eye.
Advanced Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services
Our practices are equipped with cutting-edge technology, including retinal cameras, auto-fluorescence imaging, and OCT scanning, to ensure optimal eye health for families. We collaborate closely with local NHS eye hospitals to provide community care for glaucoma, medical retina screening, CUES assessment for red-eye, and more. As therapeutic optometrists, we treat most eye diseases in-house. Andrew Matheson's higher qualification in glaucoma allows us to modify treatment plans without re-referral to eye hospitals.
Collaboration with Private Eye Clinics
We work with local private eye clinics, particularly glaucoma and vitreo-retinal surgeons, to offer post-surgery follow-up and treatment. Our therapeutic qualifications enable us to handle post-operative complications like cystoid macular oedema and uveitis swiftly, ensuring better recovery outcomes. We accept referrals for OCT scanning, dry eye treatment, visual fields, retinal photography, chromogen colour vision and dyslexia assessment
